Glass Networks reference complex interlaced systems at macro and micro scale with unexpected material use. Networks suggest Social, Biological and Astronomical realms of relationship and interdependence. Components are both fused glass and borosilicate torch worked elements, each fitted for connections to its neighbors. Works range from 3.5’ up to 7’w. Viewers often interpret the shapes and designs as definite objects, yet all see them differently: each viewer brings their own specific references as if a Rorschach test - ‘I see a shoe, or a wave’. That the designs remain open to interpretation is intentional; the viewers’ thoughts are central to an intimate viewing experience.

Works feature expressive fused glass panels with imprinted imagery and patterns, creating colored shadows and refracted light effects. Torch work inclusions are featured interest areas. Components are joined together with custom copper fittings made from narrow tubing, forming a partially flexible net. Works are wall mounted with custom built copper hardware.

Custom works can be created for individual spaces.
